The design intent for the We Buy Cars mass car dealership in Lansdown focuses on maximizing the building footprint and optimizing internal spatial efficiency to support high-volume vehicle display, customer flow, and operational functionality.
The layout is carefully planned to allow flexible zoning between showroom, sales, service, and administrative areas, ensuring seamless movement and clear visibility throughout the space.
Vertical and horizontal volumes are strategically utilized to enhance openness while accommodating storage and back-of-house requirements.
Enveloped in premium Colorbond® Steel Obsidian MATT and African White reinforces the building’s durability, low maintenance needs, and long-term performance, while also delivering a clean, modern aesthetic that aligns with the brand’s identity and commercial appeal.
The choice of using Colorbond® Steel for this project is based on the long-term colour fastness of Colorbond® Steel, complimented by the unique Thermatech® Technology which provides a more thermally efficient building, whilst improving the internal comfort.
Thermatech® Technology can reduce the internal atmosphere of a building, by up to 6 degrees C, compared to alternative prepainted steel materials in the same colour. This effectively means that the asset owner will benefit from lifecycle savings on utilities and energy used on HVAC and Airconditioning.
