Imperial Health Sciences

The Imperial Health Warehouse in Kempton Park, Gauteng, developed by Equites Property Fund, was completed in December 2020.

The completed build commands attention with its sleek and contemporary design. Its striking exterior is accentuated by its strategic use of two contrasting shades of Colorbond® Winter Matt and Graphite Matt.

The use of Colorbond® Matt allows the asset owner to benefit from the following distinctive properties of the leading prepainted steel on the market:

1.       Cooler – Thermatech® (Designed by BlueScope)

Thermatech® solar reflectance technology is incorporated in Colorbond® Steel to lower surface temperature by absorbing less heat from the sun.

2.       Cleaner – Clean Technology® ( (Designed by BlueScope)

Thermal comfort is maintnology®ained by the dirt resistant properties of Clean Colorbond® Steel.

3.       Stronger – Zincalume® Steel

Superior corrosion protection due to a patented and licenced technologically advanced formulation of 55% Aluminium, 43.5% Zinc and 1.5% Silicon.

4.       Best colour performance/retention – Super Polyester Paint System and Superior primer technology (Designed by BlueScope)

Proven paint durability performance against natural weathering (Colour fading/ chalking/ flaking/ dirt staining)

It makes us proud to see such a well-designed and constructed building, cladded in Colorbond® Steel, as we know that the exceptional performance of Colorbond® will ensure that the aesthetic and structural appeal it has today, will be retained for decades to come.
